My sister booked tickets to Lady Dinah’s Cat Emporium and we visited there on Friday. Not being ‘east-side’ too often we took the opportunity to make a day of it, alighting the tube at Liverpool Street and having a wander through Spitalfields Market and down Brick Lane. The ‘cat café’ itself was lots of fun. Although many of the cats were sleeping (as they like to do often), a couple were in playful mode. We met Carbonelle, Indiana (who demonstrated the McClaw Wheel very gracefully), Donnie, Romeo and Mue and saw glimpses of Wookie, Loki and Adamska. In addition to the lovely kitties there was tea and good food (hearty recommendation for the delicious red velvet cake!) served on retro china. Definitely worth a visit for feline/tea/cake fans – some good opportunities around the area for street photography too!
