This was taken on a recent holiday to Cornwall. We headed out to Tintagel via Boscastle, and arrived just as Tintagel Castle was closing (no matter, as we had gone with the intention of watching sunset). We were still able to clamber up to some ruins for a good vantage point. Although it had been a warm day it grew gradually more chilly as the sun went down. It always amazes me how quickly it sinks once it reaches the horizon.
Shot on DSLR with the 18-105mm kit lens (at 18mm), plus 2 and 3-stop ND filters to take any choppiness out of the sea. Processed in Lightroom. I like how the clouds have a slightly painterly quality!
