Photo101: Edge & Alignment (Day 18)

The theme for today is “Edge” (a straight line, a narrow ridge, a precipice). The tip is to use editing tools to check the alignment and make sure the line is straight.

I took a detour on my way to the office today and walked through Borough Market and along the river, looking for straight lines! The shot below is of The Swan, the pub at Shakespeare’s Globe theatre. I used the vertical correction tool in Lightroom to straighten the abundant lines. I took it from street level so there are converging verticals galore in the shot out-of-camera.
