My Scott Kelby Worldwide Photowalk 2015

A couple of weeks ago I took part in the Scott Kelby Worldwide Photowalk 2015. Apparently I was one of over 21,500 people around the world!

This was my 4th such Photowalk; this year I went to the seaside city of Brighton. The route started at the train station, taking in the North Laine district, into the Lanes, onto the beachfront for some long exposure shenanigans, finishing up at the Peace statue in Hove. A nice varied route with loads of interesting subjects. The walk started at 6pm so it was very interesting to keep shooting as the available light was dropping by the minute! This was the first walk I have taken my (heavy) tripod along on but I knew I’d want to try some long exposures at some point so I’m glad I did.

Some shots are below, all taken on the DSLR with 28-300mm lens (I just took the one lens as I didn’t want to worry about changing it during the walk), processed in Lightroom.
