Photo 101 [2016] Day 20: Triumph

It’s Day 20, the final day of Photo 101! What a Triumph!

What does triumph mean to you? It could mean… any victory — big or small, personal or public.

“Now that the winter’s gone, the earth hath lost
Her snow-white robes, and now no more the frost
Candies the grass, or casts an icy cream
Upon the silver lake or crystal stream;
But the warm sun thaws the benumbed earth,
And makes it tender; gives a sacred birth
To the dead swallow; wakes in hollow tree
The drowsy cuckoo and the humble-bee.
Now do a choir of chirping minstrels bring
In triumph to the world the youthful spring.”
–  Thomas Carew, The Spring, 1630

Well done to all those taking part in Photo 101, especially those that managed to complete all the themes. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did! Thanks for reading.

Shot on Fuji X100T with the Velvia film simulation. Tweaked in Lightroom.
