Continuing the weekly challenges for the Brighton Photographers Group on Facebook. The rules are simple, one image per theme (unless otherwise stated) and ideally shot the same week as the theme (ie no submitting from archives).
Another challenge ticked off at Sheffield Park! I recently discovered Walk Wood there. It’s quiet, slightly off the beaten path (visitors tend to stick around the lakes) and only open seasonally. I was last there in the Spring to photograph the bluebells. This time I was just there for the trees! It was a day with clouds and sunny intervals, so with the light being restricted by all the trees I had to keep an eye on my shutter speed. It wasn’t a problem as there was little else to distract me, other than the pretty bird song.
Shot on DSLR with a 28-300mm lens.
Processed in Lightroom Classic CC.
